On 30th May 2009 Mediatel SA concluded a contract with Indian Orchard Capital LLC to purchase 100% of shares capital in Velvet Telecom LLC.

The acquisition of shares of Velvet Telecom is an element of development strategy of Mediatel SA, which was presented at the beginning of 2008 by the Board of Mediatel SA. The strategy predicts concentration of activities on business market, development through acquisitions and mergers and the implementation of innovative technologies.
